Aristocrat Leisure’s real money gaming division Anaxi has partnered with the Chickasaw Nation to launch its Mobile on-Premise solution at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Oklahoma.

Anaxi’s Mobile on-Premise solution will allow casino players on tribal property to connect to Aristocrat’s Class-II gaming content via their mobile devices.

Building upon an existing partnership between the Chickasaw Nation and Aristocrat, WinStar players will now gain access to three titles via the solution – Mr Money Bags, Polar High Roller and Hot Red Ruby.

“Our commitment to both guest and operator experience is at the heart of everything we do,” commented Josh Morris, SVP of iGaming Product & Technology – Anaxi.

“Groundbreaking partnerships of this kind are the driving force in continuing to move our industry forward, and we’re eager to see our Mobile on-Premise solution now live, helping elevate the gaming experience offered by tribal gaming operators.

“We also thank our integration partners that have been part of this journey, helping to deliver this innovation solution.”

Anaxi further highlighted that additional titles will be added to the partnership for WinStar players to enjoy over time.

Chickasaw Nation Secretary of Commerce, Dan Boren, added: “We are constantly looking to improve the player experience across our properties.

“The approval last year by the National Indian Gaming Commission for alternate technical standards for the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commissioners applicable to Class II mobile gaming provides us with the flexibility to take advantage of modern technology.

“There’s no denying that the mobile gaming trend is here to stay, so we’re thrilled to launch this first-ever mobile offering with our WinStar guests and look forward to expanding upon this partnership with Anaxi in the future.”

The official name and image renderings for the proposed Coney Island casino have been released by the project’s bid group of Thor Equities, Saratoga Casino Holdings, Chickasaw Nation and Legends Hospitality.

Named ‘The Coney’, the project’s officials have claimed that the casino ‘will help revitalize Coney Island, bringing year-round jobs and world-class entertainment to Brooklyn and New York City’.

The casino will be located on the boardwalk and the beach as the statement adds that The Coney ‘seamlessly fits into the neighbourhood with a style fitting of Brooklyn’s only casino bid’.

The statement also says the project will ‘help drive a Coney Island comeback for a community that has lagged behind Brooklyn and the rest of New York City in several areas, including a higher poverty rate, unemployment rate, and higher rates of New Yorkers without health insurance’.

The Coney will also be a ‘year-round entertainment venue’ that will supply jobs and ‘help jump-start the economic revival of the legendary neighbourhood’.

Saratoga Casino Holdings and the Chickasaw Nation announced they had joined Thor Equities for the Coney Island casino bid in November last year, applying for one of three casino licenses on offer by the New York State Gaming Commission.

If The Coney casino project is successful with its bid for one of the three licenses, it will be required to pay a minimum capital investment and license fee of $500m each.

Other casino operators interested in acquiring a New York casino licence include Bally’s Caesars Entertainment, Las Vegas Sands, MGM Resorts, Mohegan Gaming and Wynn Resorts.

The Koi Nation of northern California has entered into a predevelopment agreement with Global Gaming Solutions, a wholly-owned business of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, regarding its Shiloh Casino and Resort project.

This will see the tribe, which first rolled-out plans of the construction at the 68-acre site in September, engage with GGS as development partner for the Sonoma County-based facility.

Furthermore, the agreement will also see GGS act as the manager and operator of the establishment when completed.

“We are honored to build this important business relationship with our brothers and sisters of the Chickasaw Nation, one of the most experienced Native American tribes in the gaming industry,” said Darin Beltran, Koi Nation’s tribal chair.

Bill Anoatubby, Chickasaw Nation governor, noted: “The Chickasaw Nation is pleased to play a role in this project, and we look forward to a successful collaboration.

“The prosperity of our citizens and a commitment to working together with our partners in the Koi Nation as well as local, state and community officials are key components to our mission.

“We look forward to witnessing new jobs, additional businesses and increased tourism to this region.”

The Chickasaw Nation, with its tribal headquarters in Ada, Oklahoma, operates 23 gaming establishments around the nation, including Winstar World Casino and Resort.

“We are excited by the opportunity to use our expertise to help the Koi Nation realise this project and establish the economic self-sufficiency that is the inherent right of all Native American tribes,” stated Bill Lance, commerce secretary of the Chickasaw Nation

“We look forward to beginning a successful long-term economic partnership with the Koi.”

The Shiloh Casino & Resort will include a 2,500 class III gaming machine facility, 200-room hotel, six restaurant and food service areas, a meeting center and a spa, as well as a live entertainment venue. The property will employ more than 1,100 full-time workers when fully operational.

“Not only does the Chickasaw Nation have great expertise in gaming and resorts, but they also share the same values as the Koi Nation,” added Dino Beltran, Koi Nation vice chair and director of development

“Chickasaw leaders understand the importance of this project to the restoration of our economic self-reliance because they have walked the same path many times in support of their own people’s future.”

GAN has rolled-out a two-year extension to a pre-existing simulated gaming and patent licensing agreement alongside the Chickasaw Nation’s Thackerville, Oklahoma-based WinStar World Casino and Resort.

The Chickasaw Nation owns and operates 20 regional casino properties in the state, with WinStar, which also boasts the operations of simulated gaming that is available at WinStarOnlingGaming.com, its largest gaming facility.

Jack Parkinson, general manager of WinStar World Casino and Resort, commented: “GAN has been our social online gaming partner since 2017 and we are excited to expand upon that partnership.

“GAN’s full service online social casino offering, integrated with our leading rewards program, represents a strategic online experiential product that fosters increased patron engagement outside our traditional retail channels.”

WinStar World Casino and Resort, which GAN lauds as a “major gaming destination, currently boasts almost 7,500 electronic games and 145 table games.

Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN, stated: “We are pleased to further our long-standing relationship with WinStar and the Chickasaw Nation tribe. As anticipated, our simulated gaming offering has enhanced WinStar’s engagement with its patrons, growing both digital and on-property visitation.

“We look forward to continuing to support WinStar in its ability to capture significant digital market share through our simulated gaming offering which accompanies its well served, land-based gaming enterprise.”

Earlier this week, GAN asserted that it remains “in a strong financial position” heading into the remainder of the year, as the group disclosed its performance through the second quarter of 2021.

This saw total revenue during Q2 increase 24 per cent quarter-on-quarter to $34.6m (Q1: $27.8m), driven by strong growth in the B2C segment, primarily in Latin America and Northern Europe, with sports results benefiting from a higher-than-expected margin.

The group’s B2C segment surged 68 per cent to $23.9m (Q1: $14.3m) during a quarter which included the Copa America and Euro 2020, with B2B dropping from $13.6m to $10.6m, however, Q1 included $3m of patent licensing revenue.

Las Vegas headquartered developer, manufacturer and supplier of casino games, systems and technology AGS has unveiled further expansion, as the firm enters the Pennsylvania slot market for the first time.

Entering into agreement with Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s Parx Casino, located in the Philadelphia suburb of Bensalem, the company has proceeded with its first game placements at the property.

Debuting its full range of slot produces, including its range of Orion cabinets alongside the range of game titles on the Parx casino floor last week, the company stresses that more are slated to debut across the state over the next several months.

Andrew Burke, senior vice president of slot products at AGS, commented: “We are excited about entering the robust Pennsylvania market and honoured to do so at Parx Casino, a state-of-the-art property that attracts players from greater Philadelphia, the sixth largest metropolitan area in the US with more than six million residents.

Finer details of the Pennsylvania entry sees AGS launch its Orion Portrait, Orion Slant, Icon and Big Red slot cabinets, alongside an array of titles, including Fu Nan Fu Nu, Jade Wins, Olympus Strikes, Golden Wins and Colossal Stars.

Marc Oppenheimer, chief marketing officer of Greenwood Gaming, added: “We are honoured that AGS chose Parx Casino as its launch partner in Pennsylvania. We have been eager to add AGS’ entertaining games to our slot floor, and offer our players the high-volatility excitement that AGS games are recognised for, with slot enthusiasts’ favourite features, such as progressive jackpots and free games.”

Last month AGS entered a “major contract renewal” alongside Oklahoma’s Chickasaw Nation, which sees an expansion to represent its largest ever deal alongside the tribe.

This saw the Chickasaw Nation secure an installed base of approximately 3,200 recurring revenue games, across the tribal gaming operator’s 22 casinos in the Sooner State.

AGS has announced a “major contract renewal” alongside Oklahoma’s Chickasaw Nation, which sees an expansion to represent its largest ever footprint alongside the tribe.

Agreeing terms ahead of the signing of a new long-term contract renewal effective from this month, the Chickasaw Nation has secured an AGS installed base of approximately 3,200 recurring revenue games, across the tribal gaming operator’s 22 casinos in the Sooner State.

“We are pleased to renew our long-standing relationship with AGS and look forward to furthering our partnership,” commented Bill Lance, Chickasaw Nation secretary of commerce.

Under the terms of the deal AGS is to install a significantly larger base of class II games than it previously had, across the Chickasaw Nation’s extensive gaming enterprise.

Prior to this agreement alongside the 13th largest federally recognised tribe, the Las Vegas headquartered developer, manufacturer and supplier of casino games, systems and technology drafted Mark DeDeaux as senior director of slot products.

David Lopez, AGS president and chief executive officer, added: “We are appreciative of our 14 year relationship with the Chickasaw Nation, this opportunity to renew our business with them, and their confidence in AGS.”

Earlier this month AGS released its financial report for the past year, in which it praised its 2019 acquisition of Integrity Gaming Corporation, in addition to new market entries, as the company reports rising revenues, largely thanks to continued growth in its electronic gaming machine segment.

Completing the $49m Integrity purchase last month, with included repaying $35m of the company’s outstanding debt, AGS has also lauded imminent entry into the Philippines.

Completing the necessary regulatory requirements, initial units of AGS’ Alora video bingo cabinet are now live, as it was stressed that “the Philippines video bingo market comprises approximately 70,000 machines currently, and we are confident that our content and innovative cabinet will be a competitive market addition.”
