As of today, Skrill customers can now use bitcoin to buy other cryptocurrencies using the Skrill Cryptocurrency Service. This enables quicker and more efficient cryptocurrency transactions.

Convenient for Skrill customers, they now no longer have to convert their interests in one cryptocurrency back into flat currencies before they come to purchase an interest in a new cryptocurrency. This results in fewer transactions and lower fees.

Along with this, there is now a Bitcoin pairing available for every cryptocurrency available in Skrill, with more future pairings expected to be added soon.

Skrill is part of the payments platform, Paysafe, which has a strong track record for providing payment services for specialised industries. It first launched their cryprocurrency service back in July 2018 and since then, has offered Skrill customers the opportunity to to instantly buy and sell interests in cryptocurrencies while continuing to enhance its services since.

Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill, NETELLER and Income Access at Paysafe, commented: “We know that our customers want more functionality to make it even easier for them to access and interact with cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is an important part of what we do in digital wallets and using our scale and vast experience of the payments industry, we’re continually enhancing our service to help our customers get the most out of the crypto ecosystem.”

It has been highlighted that customers can also use their Skrill wallet to purchase interests in nine cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Ether and Litecoin. They can also choose from more than 100 deposit methods.

Paysafe have reported plans to roll out the new crypto-to-crypto buy and sell feature in its NETELLER digital wallet in the next few months.

Platform provider FSB is lauding its recent Caribbean roll-out, after “breaking new ground” alongside online casino and digital sports betting operator PowerPlay.

Partnering with the firm to provide customised gaming experiences to Central American and Caribbean markets, a significantly increased activity has been felt just two weeks after going live, with figures for the site said to be “stunning”.

According to recent rankings, PowerPlay is seeing particular success within Jamaica, where in excess of 150,000 unique users equate to 10 per cent of the active online community.

Dean Serrao, chief executive officer of PowerPlay, stated: “After just two weeks of operation, we’re already thrilled with our new site and our blossoming relationship with FSB.

“Our combined package has helped capture players’ imaginations and drive their engagement to new levels, while the platform itself is effortlessly handling the increased trading volume.

“We are FSB’s first customer in the Caribbean and are particularly excited at the potential to expand to the rest of Central America soon, emboldened by this capacity to provide tailored local offerings.”

The site has been launched across 20 countries including Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico, with longer-term goals set to see an extension of the firm’s reach throughout South America and beyond.

The latest step on FSB’s growing global journey was also designed to make use of the organisation’s mobile first strategy, with internet usage within the Caribbean market comprised of approximately 80 per cent mobile traffic.

Richard Thorp, FSB’s business development director, commented: “We were delighted when PowerPlay chose us for their online launch, and proud the platform has engaged with their customers so quickly.

“It’s a great endorsement of our sportsbook and casino solution in its flexibility to open up new territories. To have PowerPlay provably endorse those credentials provides a compelling test case.”

Further link-ups for PowerPlay have been made alongside Microgaming, Realistic Games and Evolution Gaming, with Income Access also recruited for the launch of a managed affiliate programme.

Newly launched casino and sports betting brand PowerPlay has launched a managed affiliate programme alongside Income Access, as it seeks growth amongst its target markets.

The Caribbean based entity has set its sights upon its home region as well as Central America, before embarking upon expansion across South America ahead of Europe, Asia and Africa.

Utilising the new programme, which is to be powered by Income Access’ affiliate software and managed by the company’s in-house affiliate team, PowerPlay is striving to drive player acquisition amongst its core areas.

Tara Wilson, General Manager at Income Access, the Paysafe Group’s marketing technology and services provider, stated: “We are very pleased to be working with a new and ambitious brand like PowerPlay.

“Their local, tailored approach to acquisition and retention is a great fit for our data-driven affiliate marketing platform and in-house affiliate team.”

Users of the PowerPlay casino platform will be able to make use of a wide range of content, featuring slots integrated from a range of suppliers such as Microgaming and Realistic Games.

Dean Serrao, chief executive officer at PowerPlay, commented: “Choosing the Income Access platform was an easy decision for PowerPlay. They offer a product that is simple to connect to, easy to use and is trusted within the industry.

“As a new brand, we want to give affiliates tools and systems they know, so they can focus on converting players.

“We’re also excited to offer players a 10% bonus on casino deposits of over $500, a 50% bonus on scoring substitutes in all Premier League and Champions League games, and even an innovative ‘make your own promotion’ suggestion process, which invites players to mould their own sports betting and casino experience.”

UK-based casino and sportsbook brand BetSid has agreed a partnership with Income Access, Paysafe Group’s marketing technology and services provider.

BetSid’s new affiliate programme, which will launch in the next few weeks, will integrate with the Income Access Network.

The programme will benefit from the Income Access affiliate platform, which includes a number of reporting options. The BetSid program will also leverage the Income Access Network to optimise programme growth and empower the operator to recruit affiliate partners rapidly.

Paul Kirkby, BetSid managing director, said: “We are pleased to partner with the trusted Income Access Affiliate Network to launch the BetSid affiliate programme.

“Having a trusted technology partner sit alongside us as we develop our strategy means we can offer a valued-added service to affiliates who partner with our brand.”

Tara Wilson, general manager at Income Access, Paysafe Group, said: “An emphasis on quality product offerings puts BetSid in a strong position ahead of their affiliate programme launch and well into the future.

“We’re very happy that the Income Access Network will play a role in their growing success across the sportsbook and casino verticals.”

The move follows news, earlier this year, of BetSid’s partnership with platform provider FSB, a specialist in online sportsbook and casino solutions.

BetSid, founded in 2013 with an existing land-based presence, has also partnered with the affiliate marketing experts at Affiliate Insider to build an affiliate strategy that supports the brand’s expansion to a wider online audience.
