Day two of the SBC Digital Summit sees industry leaders speak about leadership in these challenging COVID-19 times and how the industry has moved against the trends of others and continues to prosper.

Delivering the opening day-two keynote at the SBC Digital Summit, Jesper Kärrbrink, co-founder and chairman of Green Jade Games, spoke about leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting off the session, Kärrbrink talked about the “C-time” period, yet instead of COVID-19 times he’s labelled it “crazy times” with a situation which could have “come out of a Hollywood movie.”

Kärrbrink went on to ask the question, “Where is this heading?” He said: “I think if we look at this in a broadened setting, we are going from healthcare to wealth care.

“I really want to reach out to all these fantastic doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers etc working around the clock in war-zone conditions to really help with all the sick people, we know they are fighting in ways they haven’t been fighting before.

“Wave two is about saving as many jobs as we possibly can. We see that this crisis will have a huge impact on the world economy hopefully, I doubt it but hopefully, politicians and bankers will work as focused and committed as doctors and nurses.

Kärrbrink went onto claim that the igaming industry had strayed onto the lucky side of the current pandemic due to being a “young industry with young employees” and from his own experience, “very few people in the critical category.”

The chairman of Green Jade also stressed that the sustainability of the industry in these challenging times comes with added responsibility. He stated: “We know there are always people looking at this industry and today is probably the most important time to promote responsible gaming to the top of the agenda.

“We’ve seen what happened in Latvia, temporarily suspending gaming licences. We’ve seen the measures in Belgium and Portugal, last week the Swedish government came out with enforced regulations on deposit levels. This is happening, the more money we are making the easier it will be for them to implement restrictions like this.

“This is a perfect opportunity to put responsible gaming on top of the agenda to show that we care, to show that we take our responsibility and that we, at some point, look back on in a couple of years and see things we missed and what put us in this situation and that is very important.”

Kärrbrink went on to express the “amazing ability” of companies to adapt, with people moving from working in an office to working at home, game release kept on schedule even with people working from home and product development continuing as it previously was.

Yet, Kärrbrink went on to express the struggles industries find themselves in, he said: “The largest challenge in leadership is to always find balance. Balancing between investing and saving, pushing and holding back a bit, driving your workforce very hard and still having them to enjoy their lives and this is a new way of finding balance and the largest challenge is actually managing and leading people. Seeing people without actually seeing them.

Kärrbrink spoke about his personal challenge in adapting the way he worked. From the usual walking around the office and praising people with their work, he now claims praising people directly over phone calls now feels more “intrusive.” Yet he believes communication is imperative in the current climate. He continued: “Communication is key. I think sending emails, texts, WhatsApp etc has exploded.

“I think we need communication like this. Leaders need to stand up and speak to their employees and congratulate them. It’s more important now to over communicate than under communicate.”

Concluding, Kärrbrink believed that the current situation could potentially lead to an new method of working due to increased efficiency in work being produced. He said: “Is this the beginning of a new way of working? Yes I think so.

“Why have expensive offices for 200 people when I know that for most one day or two days working from home will work perfectly? It will increase efficiency, it will improve the work-life balance and we are also given more responsibility to our employees working from home but as a manager you have to give more responsibility. There are studies that show efficiency has peaked dramatically.

“At home you go from breakfast to work, you don’t go to breakfast to commute, to chatting with colleagues, to getting your coffee and then 45 minutes later you actually turn on your computer. It’s breakfast to turn your computer on. We are more efficient.

“I’m not saying we shouldn’t meet or we should close offices but we should find a sounder balance.

“It’s our responsibility as managers and leaders to embrace change, to take the positive parts of this crisis with us in the post crisis era. We need to see how we can improve from this, and the one industry that I can see as doing this is the igaming industry.”

The SBC Digital Summit runs from 27 April to 1 May 2020 and features seven conference tracks, a virtual exhibition and virtual networking lounges, attracting an estimated 10,000 delegates logging in from around the world.

Jesper Kärrbrink, CEO of online gaming operator Mr Green, feels that goals from PSG starlet Kylian Mbappé will spur France to the final at this summer’s World Cup, which kicks off in Russia next week.

Kärrbrink has made a number of predictions for the tournament, including a run to the final for many punters’ favourites Germany and a “year of redemption” for serial underachievers England. He also described Mbappé as “football’s next super scorer”, tipping the 19 year old for the Golden Boot.

Commenting on a potential Germany-France final, Kärrbrink said: “The drama and the battle between efficiency and artistry, the fight between neighbours and the class of the players for Germany and France could make this one of the best games ever. Like a Champions League Final on steroids.”

Despite predicting an all-European final, Kärrbrink still expects Argentina’s Lionel Messi will be crowned Player of the Tournament, while he expects fellow Swede Victor Lindelöf to impress, despite indifferent Premier League form for club Manchester United.

“It’s a subjective and impossible category to bet on”, said Kärrbrink, “but it’s still an interesting one to speculate about. He might have struggled at United, but he has the potential to be a superstar defender. I think he will show it this summer.”

The CEO also put a positive spin on England’s prospects, despite having been dumped out of Euro 2016 by minnows Iceland. He tips Iceland to do well again, predicting they will be the surprise qualifier from a group featuring Argentina, Croatia and Nigeria.

“2018 is the year of redemption for English football,” he said. “England has been favourites (in England) since 1966 but never really lived up to the expectations, perhaps with the 2000s as an exception.

“This year, they have a great team, a strong coach and less pressure. And surely, they cannot repeat the fiasco from 2014. I predict they will reach the semi-final stage.”

Finally, he expects Uruguay’s Fernando Muslera to be picked in goal for the Team of the Tournament, just pipping another standout ‘keeper, Costa Rica’s Keylor Navas.

Karrbrink could well be reflecting on these predictions in September, when he appears on the CEO Panel at the CasinoBeats Summit, which is co-located with Betting on Sports Week at Olympia in London.

The necessity of building and maintaining a strong network is a familiar construct among numerous industries, and is certainly one that is not lost in the gaming community.

However, among the multitude of strategies and expert tutorials in how best to achieve such a goal, is the question of: how much do you know you network? With this in mind, CasinoBeats is aiming to take a look under the hood, if you will, and has tasked the 100 Club to help out.

Our latest participant is a very familiar face to many across the industry, as Jesper Kärrbrink, chairperson of CEGO, elaborates on an unexpected career path, the necessity of progressing beyond a wild west mentality, and hopes for an industry-wide commitment for a carbon footprint reduction.

CasinoBeats: Could you begin by talking us through any past experiences that have been gained outside of the gambling industry? Could your career have taken any different paths?

Jesper Karrbrink: To start with, my career is probably the most un-planned thing on the planet. By chance I became the CEO of a Swedish local newspaper some 30 years ago, and then in the late 90s I realised that this thing called ‘the internet’ looked fun and would probably rock the world.

Then, years later on my way to lunch, a headhunter called and asked if I would be interested in heading up Svenska Spel. I said yes. He could have called someone else or I could have said no and my career would have taken a totally different turn. I’m glad he called, and that I said yes, Svenska Spel was great and the igaming industry is so fun.

CB: How would you assess your progress through the industry to date? Are there any interesting anecdotes that would interest our readers, or any stand out experiences that may not have been possible without the current, or a past, role?

JK: After Svenska Spel I returned to media and e-commerce being CEO of Eniro and Euroflorist. The latter taught me a great deal about customer acquisition, retention and conversion that I then used when coming back to the igaming industry with Mr Green.

At that time, we focused so much on brand and games that we missed the basics. The first version of the new site didn’t even have a registration or deposit button on the landing page. We changed that quickly.

Introducing Green Gaming was another project that could have flunked miserably with the risk of affecting our VIP players the most. But with some fantastic internal support it became one of our best received initiatives ever.

My personal highlight was when one of the senior VIP managers came to me and told me that this was the best thing Mr Green had ever done. ‘First, my customers love that we think about them, but most importantly my grandparents are finally proud of what I do at work’.

CB: What would you say have been the major changes during your time working in the industry? Both for the better and worse.

JK: I started at Svenska Spel 2004 and since then the igaming industry has gone from kind of a ‘wild west’ mentality to being super professional. This is of course very positive and has led to more and more (smart) people wanting to work in this industry. The industry has also changed from barely being regulated to almost being overregulated, but still in a positive way.

This has led to new markets like the US, which in itself will have a huge impact on the industry in the coming years. And if we look at the product we as an industry offer, it is so much better today than in 2004, the games, the entertainment, responsible gaming, on-boarding, withdrawal processes etc etc. Basically every part of the user experience has improved dramatically.

CB: If you could ask the 100 Club any questions, or task them with tackling any issue, what would that be?

JK: What can we do to take our responsibilities for minimising the Co2 footprint to zero.

If you would like to tell your story, or be considered for the CasinoBeats 100 Club, please email us at craig@sbcgaming.com.

Jesper Kärrbrink, chairman at Green Jade Games, believes that the imminent takeover of NetEnt by Evolution Gaming, while being a “fantastic deal” for both parties, could shift the balance and provide an opportunity for the smaller games providers.

Speaking as part of the day-three ‘Leaders Panel’ at CasinoBeats Malta Digital, Kärrbrink explained: “Suddenly, operators might have 30 or 40 per cent of revenues from the same supplier. This opens up more opportunities for the smaller guys because as an operator you need to risk-diversify your content, and not put all your eggs in one basket.”

He added: “From an Evolution and NetEnt perspective this is a fantastic deal but it could come out good for Green Jade and other smaller suppliers too.”

A strong collection of industry leaders, moderated by Altenar COO Dinos Stranomitis, also discussed the inevitable shift to online gaming during the coronavirus pandemic.

Alexander Martin, CEO of SKS365, told delegates how the Italian government imposed a decree on 8 March forcing the closure of 1,000 SKS365 shops in Italy. He admitted that the subsequent shift to online has left the operator with a broader, and more diversified, online portfolio but that he remains “a strong believer in omnichannel presence”.

Martin added: “What may be a surprise to people is that, during the months of lockdown we invested heavily in our shop operations and shop technology. We brought out a new set of SSBTs and cashier solutions, so it is now easier for customers to play within the betting shops. It also helps nowadays to secure social distancing.”

Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Betsson, wasn’t giving much away when probed by Stranomitis about the operator’s M&A plans, but said that his business was in a “strong position”.

“The only thing we suspended (during the lockdown) was the start-up of new sports betting projects like the launch of our sportsbook with a third party client,” said Lindwall. “That was not possible to do because there were no sports to bet on.”

Kärrbrink was more forthcoming about the prospect of future M&A for gaming, albeit more on the land-based side. “The bigger land-based operators have been very dependent on their bricks and mortar business,” he said. In those boardrooms now there has to be discussions now about M&A to mitigate that risk going forward, perhaps not for a second wave per se, but for the next time something like this happens.”

The Green Jade Games Chairman also recognised that it has been a “fantastic time” for his company, having signed more than 25 operators in the lockdown period. He added: “You can’t blame the coronavirus if your business has not been flying as a game provider.”

Meanwhile, Ariel Reem, CEO of Genesis Global, shared some encouraging signs of the gambling behaviour displayed in lockdown. “Common sense was you’d expect people to sit at home and consume more,” he said. “Actually it was not the case at all.

“What we actually saw was a drop of 5-10% in player deposits depending on the region. We also saw more use of responsible gambling tools – that was very encouraging to see. So, the database is acting in a healthy way, and at the same time we have seen more traffic coming in from other sources to deliver higher volume.”

CasinoBeats Malta Digital, delivered in association with Gaming Malta, takes place from 30 June to 2 July 2020 and features 40 virtual exhibitors, numerous networking opportunities, 130 leading speakers, and countless business opportunities for 3,000 senior decision-makers from operators, suppliers, affiliates and other industry stakeholders.

Alongside the exhibition, networking and conference, all delegates also gain access to the full range of entertainment on offer, including free-play slots, daily competitions and a selection of prizes such as iPads and cash.

They say adversity is the only true test of leadership. As the COVID-19 pandemic presents the gaming sector with an unprecedented challenge, CasinoBeats is looking to the sector’s leaders. Here, Jesper Kärrbrink, executive chairman at Green Jade Gaming and former CEO at both Mr Green and Svenska Spel, has his say.

I think it’s fair to say that we have a situation no one has experienced before. We have a coronavirus pandemic – and we have a global infodemic.

Together this has created an unprecedented level of fear and anxiety. We are closing borders, putting cities in lockdown, stopping public events, threatening people with fines if they are out walking outside in groups. Six months ago, this could only be found on a Netflix episode of some zombie movie, watched by few and believed by none. Now it is happening.

The big question facing business at this moment is: “How will this affect the gaming industry and what are the options we have?”

Firstly, it will affect all but some more than others. Being a resort casino today is probably a nightmare. Having a dependency on sports betting, is perhaps a similarly difficult experience but with a lower fixed-cost base. Being any of these and sitting on a debt-driven balance sheet is beyond a bad dream – it’s what Hollywood colourfully calls a ‘clusterfuck’. Believe me, been there done that (Eniro 2008).

However, most igaming companies are not in this situation, but actually in a better spot than many other industries suffering through the corona crisis. We are coming from higher EBITDA margins than most, and our product is digital with a 100 per cent variable cost of sale. The most substantial spend is marketing, which is relatively easy to cut.

“The players are still playing their favourite games online”

The second-largest cost is people and this has – in most igaming companies –  been a focus area the last few years with increased regulation and shrinking margins. Having a balanced workforce is key to any company and situation. When it comes to the staff and the current situation, I believe the focus has to be on keeping the spirits high without promising too much. Transparency is the key word now, everyone understands the seriousness.

But most importantly right now we have a product that people like and consume also in times of crisis!

With regard to sports, lacking popular betting events and matches due to leagues shutting down and major tournaments postponed makes it very hard to bet – but playing my favourite slot or table game is so far unaffected. Perhaps even there will be an increase, with more people working from home, spending less on restaurants and bars and having more time. Talking to providers, both large and small, this seems to be true. The players are still playing their favourite games online.

The challenge for most igaming companies is rather on the human resources side, setting up functional call centres with the agents working from home, getting 100 per cent from teams that are unable to meet up, having employees turning their living rooms into a combo of home office for two and a schoolroom for the kids and at the same time performing at full capacity.

This is a management challenge which will prove who the real leaders are. And looking around the industry and talking to people on different levels, we don’t lack leaders. There are numerous examples of strong leadership where remaining cool and focused, communicating clearly and adapting to new situations are the order of the day. Some have even started joking about it. And that’s always a good sign.

“In a crisis, focusing on getting out of it must be the first priority. But it is essential to start looking ahead again. Things will get back to normal”

The key for most CEOs now seems to be to shift focus from long-term planning to day-to-day operations, constantly monitoring customer behaviour and cost. This is the right way to go: when in a crisis, focusing on getting out of it must be first priority. But at some point it is essential to start looking ahead again. Things will get back to normal.

At this point, while there will be some damage from the coronavirus itself, the real cost to business is driven by market psychology. Viruses have been with us forever. According to a Goldman Sachs report published last week, stock markets should fully recover in the second half of the year.

Furthermore, Goldman Sachs’ conclusion is that there is no systemic risk. It feels more like 9/11 than it does like 2008. But I think this can change fast depending on how we as a society handle this crisis. The wheels need to start spin again.

So is this a (major) bump in the road but not the Armageddon one might think when reading newspapers and browsing the internet. Will it impact the igaming industry? Yes it will, but once again, except for betting, we will come out relatively well considering the shit-show the world is experiencing at present.

One will come out in a net better position, especially those focusing on entertainment and value for the player (in contradiction to player value). Some of the measurements taken as an effect of the corona crisis – like having remote customer service operations, more video meetings, etc – can also become a new way of operating, leading to even higher quality and lower cost.

And it is worth repeating – from a leadership perspective, there are some real superstars out there managing the challenge!

Aspire Global has announced the appointment of Jesper Kärrbrink as chairman of aggregator and game developer Pariplay with immediate effect.

Kärrbrink recently held a chief executive officer position at Mr Green and Svenska Spel, leaving the former upon purchase by William Hill being secured.

Commenting on his appointment, Kärrbrink, said: “Pariplay is an exciting company with a strong position in a time of transition for the igaming industry.

“I look forward to supporting the management of Pariplay in strengthening the offering to operators in terms of innovation and competitive strength.”

Aspire secured the acquisition of Pariplay for €13.1m from Isle of Man-based GMS Entertainment in October 2019, praising the entity more recently after closing a strong year of growth with a weaker performance in 2019’s final quarter.

Tsachi Maimon, CEO of Aspire Global, said: “Jesper Kärrbrink brings extensive experience from the igaming industry and game development in particular, including deep knowledge about especially the European igaming market.

“We have high expectations for Pariplay as an important addition to our B2B-business and as chairman Jesper Kärrbrink will contribute to the refining of Pariplay’s strategy and in realising the full potential of our acquisition.”

The acquisition of Pariplay gave Aspire Global the springboard into the regulated US market due to game developers holding an igaming certificate in New Jersey.

In November 2019 Pariplay signed an agreement with “one of the leading” online casino operator 888casino in New Jersey.

“CasinoBeats is an excellent opportunity to reach a broader audience”

The second CasinoBeats Summit is edging ever closer, with five weeks to go until 1,000 senior industry executives descend on the Olympia London on September 17-20.

Forming a key part of the four conference tracks on offer is ‘Future of Gaming,’ delving into discussion on a plethora of subject matters that could be key to ensuring sustained and responsible growth.

I’m sure that this year, I’ll return from CasinoBeats with even more vigour to succeed”

A leaders panel discussing current challenges in the sector heads up the first day, before a conference track that features topics titled:

  • Live casino: Time to innovate
  • Future of slots
  • Player focused game design
  • The search for innovation
  • Taking the strain

A further key part on the first day of action will be the keynote delivered by Jesper Karrbrink, executive chairman of Green Jade Games, who said of his participation: “For us, as a relatively new company, CasinoBeats is an excellent opportunity to reach a broader audience.

“We created Green Jade Games, not to make the 2,501st slot, but to challenge ourselves and the industry with innovations where we deliver casino games that mix the mechanics from slots and table games with video and app games, combining RNG and skill in a way not done before.

“In my presentation, I will address the concept of innovation and disruptiveness and why I think it is crucial for us as an industry to innovate if we want to continue attracting new players.”

Operators attending and speaking at the Summit in 2019 will include Caesars, CasumoGenting UK, Hard Rock, LeoVegas, Lottoland, Mansion, Olympic, Rank, Royal Panda, Videoslots and William Hill, while a number of leading suppliers are also backing the event, with BetConstruct, Microgaming, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, Play’n Go, Playson, SG Digital and Yggdrasil all joining as sponsors.

David Flynn, CEO of Swintt, who recently aligned with the CasinoBeats Summit as platinum sponsor, commented: “Even though CasinoBeats was only just launched last year, it was very professionally run and we have positive feedback from the numerous sessions.

“It is a rare occasion to have together all the igaming decision-makers”

“With a greater focus on casino at this years event I envisage a wider audience and deeper subject matter to discuss.

“The online casino industry has many challenges, just like any industry, however we must also focus on the indefinite opportunities that we are not even scratching the surface of.

“I’m sure that this year, I’ll return from CasinoBeats with even more vigour to succeed and help Swintt make a difference in our industry and beyond.”

Cristiano Blanco, head of gaming at Kindred Group, who is to partake in a live casino focused debate, added: “The gaming industry is going through one of the challenging, unexpected and exciting times. New regulations bring opportunities together with delivery delays and strong headaches.

“I am happy to be part of the CasinoBeats Summit because it is a rare occasion to have together all the igaming decision-makers, to have a feel of the market from the inside and seriously think about the future of our industry, putting aside all the issues that the competition brings with it.”

In addition, Summit delegates gain access to Betting on Sports, which takes place at Olympia at the same time, alongside the PaymentExpert Forum and the DigitalMarketing Forum, delivered in conjunction with AffiliateINSIDER.

Malta-based online casino operator Videoslots.com has announced that it has teamed up with Swish for the Swedish market, which it lauds as the the country’s “most popular payment system”.

The mobile payment system works via a smartphone application, through which the user’s phone number is connected to their bank account, with the organisation stating that it’s currently the favoured payment service in Sweden, with 6.7m active users and 180,000 connected businesses.

Following re-regulation of the Swedish gambling market Videoslots states that it’s been working closely with banks and local payment services, with this deal the latest step in that process.

As a result of this deal with the “cost effective payment system,” the organisation states it will help strengthen its position within the market, in addition to aiding continued growth efforts and enhance player experience.

Alexander Stevendahl, chief executive officer at Videoslots.com, said: “Swish is Sweden’s most popular payment method. We’re always looking for ways to grow our customer base and brand and this integration will help us do exactly that.”

This is the third deal is quick succession for the payment service, launched seven years ago in cooperation with the Central Bank of Sweden, following agreements made alongside LeoVegas and online gaming operator Mr Green.

The latter is striving to offer a superior gaming experience in a responsible environment, whilst through the utilisation of Swish BankID it is also aiming to strengthen the user experience.

Jesper Kärrbrink, CEO of Mr Green, commented: “The online consumer behaviour in Sweden has adapted very fast to both payment services like Swish, and identification through BankID.

“By applying these already highly-appreciated services within our registration and payment systems, our players will be able to enjoy a smoother and faster gaming experience.”

Online gaming operator Mr Green has expanded its suite of payment options for the Swedish market, by aligning with the Swish service.

The mobile payment system works via a smartphone application, through which the user’s phone number is connected to their bank account, with the organisation stating that it’s currently the favoured payment service in Sweden, with 6.7m active users and 180,000 connected businesses.

As a result of the new agreement Mr Green is striving to offer a superior gaming experience in a responsible environment, furthermore through the utilisation of Swish BankID the firm is also aiming to strengthen the user experience.

Mr Green has also announced that, following its £245m acquisition by William Hill, it has applied for delisting of the company’s shares from Nasdaq Stockholm.

This follows a recent launch alongside LeoVegas, who is to also to integrate Swish for the Swedish market, which relaunched on the first day of 2019.

Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas Group CEO,explained: “LeoVegas’ goal is to offer the ultimate gaming experience for our customers, and we are now making this even better with the launch of Sweden’s fastest deposit method via Swish.

“Faster than this, you cannot make your payments and we are living up to our epithet: ‘lightning-fast deposits’. In addition, customers are securely identified via BankID.

“The fact that 63 per cent of all Swedes use Swish every week shows how popular [the service] is, and it is therefore extra exciting that LeoVegas is now offering the favourite way of making payments in Sweden.

“Our teams have worked intensively to be able to launch immediately after the turn of the year.

“That we are also lowering our transaction costs makes this a win-win arrangement, and exemplifies the new opportunities for LeoVegas in the Swedish market.”

As Mr Green celebrates its 10th birthday, CasinoBeats speaks to CEO Jesper Kärrbrink about the milestone – and what the next decade holds for the Swedish gaming brand

MR GREEN has become an unmistakable fixture on the online gaming landscape. From the ubiquitous green suit and matching bowler hat and umbrella at ICE to the Green Gaming loss limits, the company has always caught the eye.

CasinoBeats talks to the gaming brand’s CEO, Jesper Kärrbrink, who outlined what he thinks sets Mr Green apart and what the future may look like for the operator.

Happy birthday! It’s been a remarkable decade of growth – just what is it about the brand that makes it so strong?

JK: “It was well defined from the start and then a lot of talented people have managed to evolve it and keep it modern without losing its core values of entertainment and responsibilities.”

What do you think has been the brand’s biggest achievement in that time?

“Being true to its core values even when we have struggled. Another important part is the engagement the brands creates internally and that it works so well in many different markets.”

What do the next 10 years look like for Mr Green?

“The igaming industry will go through a massive change in the coming 10 years, pushed by regulations and technical development opening up business opportunities.

“We will see new products attracting customers not playing our games today, we will be better in predicting problematic gambling, we will see new markets opening up and I think/hope the industry, sooner or later, will move away from bonuses and focus more on retention via exciting user experiences.

“Our vision is to be part of this and shape the future of the igaming industry by being innovative.”

“the best thing an operator can do is to know its customer – not as a group or a cohort, but as individual players

Green Gaming is a good example of operators being proactive when it comes to responsible gaming. Is the industry doing enough to help reduce harm from gambling?

“We believe the best thing an operator can do is to know its customer, not as a group or a cohort, but as individual players. And by that, help the customer make the right choices.

“If a player is about to lose control we should know this and prompt this player to change behaviour, whether that is to set a lower limit or take a break or stop playing certain games or teach him or her probability or even make them stop playing in total.

“We see more and more initiatives like this in the industry, which is positive.”

Should operators be setting mandatory loss limits, like the one operator Paf has introduced?

“Paf has always been a front-runner in responsible gaming and a company we look at. Mandatory limits are part of the Swedish regulations from January 1, 2019, and I think that is a good step.

“But what the limits should be must be up to every player to decide. When it comes to money, one-size-fits-all is a difficult concept.”

What does the short-term Mr Green roadmap look like, to perhaps the end of 2019?

“Growth, innovation and Green Gaming are the morning stars for the green gentleman in 2019!”
