Maxima Compliance

Full-service compliance provider Maxima Compliance has appointed igaming veteran Francesco Bianchi as its director of compliance operations. He has worked in the igaming compliance field for more than a decade, holding senior compliance roles at GLI, NMi and Betfair, with his recent role being BMM Testlabs’s director of igaming operations.

Bianchi will oversee all of Maxima Compliance’s technical compliance offerings, including technical compliance consulting services, as well as the firm’s recently-launched Complitech product. Moreover he will support Maxima Compliance’s existing management team in strategy and delivery.

The new director of compliance operations at Maxima Compliance, stated: “Maxima Compliance has quickly established itself as the most innovative and essential provider of compliance services in our industry.

Bianchi will report directly to managing director Antonio Zanghi.

Intralot Inc

Intralot Inc, the US subsidiary of gaming solutions supplier Intralot S.A has announced Byron Boothe as its CEO.

Boothe has served as interim CEO of the firm since last year and had previously held the role of president government relations. The lottery veteran joined Intralot in 2007.

Tom Miller, Intralot’s chairman stated: “We have made much progress in the past year, notably in the last couple of months launching our sports betting solution in Montana and Washington DC. We are confident that Byron is the right person to build on this momentum.”

Pragmatic Play

Victor Arias has been appointed as Pragmatic Play’s new Vice President of Latin America as the company looks to establish itself in the region.

During his 20 year career Arias has worked for both B2C and B2B businesses in the igaming industry. His core responsibilities will include the continued growth of Pragmatic Play within the regulated territories in Latin America through a clear business development strategy. 

In addition, he will head Pragmatic Play’s new Latin American hub based in Argentina with a team of three executives working to achieve the supplier’s goals in the region.

BtoBet has announced a new content agreement with Salsa Technology which sees video bingo integrated onto the igaming provider’s Neuron 3 platform.

Under the terms of the deal, BtoBet customers now have access to a variety of Salsa Technology titles including Halloween Groove Bingo, Pachinko 3D and the Latin American classic Jogo dos Bichos Praia.

BtoBet’s CMO Sabrina Soldà added that Salsa Tech has proved to be innovative with its portfolio, with its content said to be proving to be popular among a wide range of players.

Soldà further added that during these times, characterised by a shortfall in the sportsbook vertical, BtoBet further seeks to add appealing content to all verticals amongst which its online casino portfolio, ensuring a wide range of content diversity to its partners.

In March BtoBet announced the integration of casino games from over 100 providers in an attempt to ensure that operators can mitigate shortfalls in the sportsbook vertical due to COVID-19.

Online casino content developer Yggdrasil has set its sights on the Latin America region after embarking upon a new content-based partnership with Patagonia Entertainment.

As a result of the deal the LatAm focused organisation’s host of regional brands is receive the Yggdrasil suite of titles, in a deal that sees the supplier makes its initial steps into the rapidly regulating market.

Patagonia Entertainment is to strengthen its Latin American gaming aggregation platform via the introduction of the Ganapati portfolio of titles.

Latin America-focused Patagonia Entertainment has unveiled a further expansion of its game aggregation platform, courtesy of a fresh agreement with bespoke games studio Espresso Games.

The Italian casino games developer is to integrate a variety of titles from its portfolio onto Patagonia’s platform, as it continues plans to expand across the Latin America region.

Furthermore, a series of Espresso’s jackpot formats are to also be included under the terms of the partnership, including cross-games jackpot tournaments, multiplayer jackpot requests and progressive reel jackpots.

Asia focused distributor QTech Games has announced a further bolstering of its portfolio of content, after unveiling a fresh agreement alongside Patagonia Entertainment.

Strengthening its position towards the forefront of the Latin American market, the reciprocal deal also ensures that worldwide operators powered by the QTech Games platform will now be able to access a new range of titles from Patagonia’s full catalogue of content.

As part of the deal, which it is said will deliver “the next generation of flexible gaming solutions,” a variety of video content, in addition to bingo, casino and board games titles are to be encapsulated.

Boasting in excess of 55 worldwide partners, in addition to more than 400 land-based betting shops, Digitain, who provide omni-channel igaming to the online, mobile and land-based verticals, stresses that it’s pleased to add an “outstanding” array of content.
